Multi-family / commercial construction experience managing ground up and rehab projects ranging from $25,000,000 to $50,000,000 in construction costs.
This role has day to day site responsibility for construction projects – this includes daily site progress, safety, SWPPP and site management. This role is responsible for the project schedule including a 2-week lookout. This role hosts a weekly subcontractor meeting providing schedule updates and answering questions for subcontractors as well as a daily team standup setting daily to-dos and responsibilities for the site team.
This role will handle day-to-day site problems and questions. They will have an intense knowledge of the plans and the project – knowing and/or finding out all details necessary to efficiently build the project. They will communicate with the Construction Project Manager and/or the architect/consultants on any issues, RFIs and clarifying items needed to construct the project.
This position must be incredibly organized and thrive in problem solving environments. Preparation and planning are a strong suit but the ability to change directions, solve problems and make decisions is a must.
Experience / Education: Degree in construction management, engineering or architecture preferred (or work experience equivalent) with 5-10+ years of experience in multi-family real estate development construction experience.
