Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pipe installation, and/or concrete construction. Seeking an individual who has excellent leadership abilities, the ability to multitask, and experience coordinating owners, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects
- Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project plans
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards throughout the construction process
- Collaborate with project managers, owners, and engineers to ensure proper milestones are met
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction processes and techniques
- Familiarity with contract management practices and quality control measures in construction projects
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
