Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a senior Project Manager to direct construction projects from planning through closeout, with accountability for safety, quality, schedule, staffing, and financial performance.

Project Details

The role supports infrastructure and marine construction work, including bridges, docks, and other projects across the Northeast. The position is based at the district home office in Cranford, New Jersey, with teams relocating as project needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead project administration, superintendents, engineers, and field operations.
• Coordinate project planning, work sequencing, staffing, schedules, procurement needs, and resource allocation.
• Monitor job costs, cash flow, financial objectives, estimates, and change orders.
• Maintain safety, quality, production, and compliance standards throughout execution.
• Build and guide the project management team while coordinating with executives, department leads, owners, subcontractors, and craft personnel.
• Resolve technical and operational issues and manage project closeout, documentation, retainage, and claims.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction project management experience, including infrastructure, bridges, docks, and marine work.
• Ability to interpret schedules, cost controls, owner specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• A degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Reliable attendance, safe work practices, and willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.

Compensation and Benefits
