Job Summary
Kiewit’s Weeks Marine group is seeking a Project Engineer based in Aiea, Hawaii, to manage the administrative, technical, financial, and coordination requirements of construction projects while developing field and cost engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage project schedules, revenue, costs, cash flow, contracts, and subcontracts.
- Oversee temporary engineering, permanent design coordination, quality control, and project closeout.
- Maintain client relationships and support operations planning.
- Coordinate information between project or construction management and engineering staff.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least five years of construction or engineering experience and two years managing engineers.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents and identify discrepancies.
- Strong communication, organization, time management, initiative, ethics, safety awareness, and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation is $87,825-$131,738, with eligibility for medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life insurance, disability, retirement matching, and paid time off benefits.
Location and Mobility
The position is based in Aiea, Hawaii, and may require travel, relocation, and work at different locations as project needs change.
