Aptitude Project Manager 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Aptitude Project Manager 1 to support technology-focused scopes of work across construction projects. This role blends project management with technical expertise in IT, security, and life safety systems, serving as a subject matter expert who integrates technology scopes from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology-related design and construction efforts to meet constructability, quality, financial, and technical standards.
• Develop technology-specific scopes of work and responsibility matrices tailored to individual projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and obtain vendor and trade partner pricing to compile accurate budgets and hard bid proposals.
• Manage project budgets, costs, schedules, staffing projections, billing, and collections.
• Track and report progress on project milestones to team members, stakeholders, and team leaders.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members consistent with JE Dunn's core values and strategic objectives.
• Ensure proper management and archiving of all project documents at completion.
• Support the deployment of Aptitude strategies to achieve project financial, quality, and performance objectives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, IT, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, security, or life safety related systems.
• 5+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and strong presentation skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
