Aptitude Project Manager 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn’s Aptitude group is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead technology integration services and support the successful delivery of technology-related scopes on building projects.

Project Details

The role supports technology, security, life safety, network integration, design-assist, installation, and smart building initiatives in coordination with project teams, owners, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology design and construction activities while maintaining constructability, quality, technical, and financial requirements.
• Develop scopes of work, responsibility matrices, project plans, schedules, budgets, staffing projections, billing, and collection plans.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, obtain vendor and trade pricing, and prepare budgets or hard-bid proposals.
• Track milestones, resolve project issues, communicate progress, and complete project closeout documentation and evaluations.
• Manage the technology consulting process and support project pursuits, business development, training, and smart building initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and support team members while contributing to Aptitude processes, standards, and staff development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, information technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 8 years of experience with information technology, security, or life safety systems.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to develop project proposals, fees, and work plans.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, collaboration, relationship-building, and follow-through skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Compensation and Benefits
