Architectural/Engineering Project Manager - Dallas/Fortworth TX

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking a senior Architectural/Engineering Project Manager to lead integrated design delivery for complex building programs from early planning through construction support. The role combines technical oversight, client leadership, and management of multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams.

Project Details

Projects may include federal and government facilities, healthcare, mission critical and data center work, sports and entertainment venues, transit and aviation, education, nuclear, industrial, power, and water/wastewater programs. The position may be based in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Westlake, Texas, with hybrid flexibility and travel of up to 35%.

Responsibilities

• Direct multidisciplinary teams across architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty disciplines.
• Manage projects through concept, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction support.
• Control execution plans, budgets, schedules, staffing, quality, safety, constructability, and client expectations.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, design reviews, stakeholder coordination, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor design professionals and coordinate with estimating, procurement, construction, and field operations.
• Support proposals, scope and fee development, interview presentations, and market growth initiatives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 12 years of building design and engineering experience with increasing project leadership responsibility.
• At least 5 years managing multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams through complete design phases.
• Experience with design-build or integrated project delivery, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Experience in one or more specialized sectors such as federal, healthcare, mission critical, transportation, education, nuclear, industrial, or power.
• PE or RA licensure, complex design-build or EPC experience, PDB or FEED experience, and BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
