Job Summary

Kiewit Architectural & Engineering is hiring a senior Architectural/Engineering Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary design delivery for complex building, infrastructure, energy, and industrial programs. The position may be based in Lone Tree, Colorado, or Houston, Texas, with hybrid flexibility from either office.

Project Details

The portfolio includes federal and government facilities, nuclear and power projects, healthcare, mission critical facilities, sports and entertainment venues, transit and aviation, education, industrial work, and commercial buildings. Projects may use design-build, EPC, Progressive Design Build, and other integrated delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Direct architecture, engineering, and specialty teams from concept through construction support.
• Manage execution plans, budgets, schedules, resources, quality, safety, constructability, and client expectations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders and lead meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Oversee building systems coordination, code compliance, innovative design, and collaboration with construction, estimating, procurement, and field teams.
• Mentor technical staff and support pursuits through proposals, scope and fee development, and interview presentations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering, mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of building systems architecture, engineering, and design experience with increasing project leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets, schedules, design-build delivery, and client relationships.
• Experience in at least one relevant sector such as federal, healthcare, mission critical, sports, transit, aviation, education, nuclear, industrial, or power.
• PE or RA registration is preferred, along with experience on large design-build or EPC projects.
• Familiarity with PDB, FEED, BIM, Revit, or Navisworks is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $150,000-$205,000. Full-time benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, wellness and employee assistance programs, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
