Aspen Field Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Field Engineer to support project delivery in Aspen and the Denver region. This role offers early-career construction professionals the opportunity to contribute to field operations, documentation, safety, quality, and trade coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning, field inspections, safety orientations, hazard correction, and site reviews.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with RFIs, submittals, changes, billings, and trade contractor coordination.
• Support self-perform work through crew planning, labor tracking, and quantity tracking.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and help implement quality plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Identify field issues, help resolve problems, and maintain productive relationships with project partners.
• Mentor field engineers, students, and interns as assigned.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level field engineering or coordination experience is preferred; relevant internships may count.
• Working knowledge of construction specifications, methods, scheduling, equipment, self-perform work, and subcontracted scopes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical communication with contractors, designers, and inspectors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and apply construction principles to solve problems.

Compensation and Benefits
