Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a full-time, in-person position supporting its Phoenix operations team. The role offers project execution responsibility and opportunities for advancement through the company’s career development program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trade work and material flow from design and fabrication through installation.
• Review and validate monthly subcontractor payment applications.
• Support cost management, change orders, RFIs, and risk identification.
• Contribute to overall project execution beyond assigned trade packages.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Mentor junior project team members and support the company’s standards and culture.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering, or at least three years of equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic familiarity with Bluebeam, SketchUp, Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar construction tools.
• Willingness to relocate as needed is preferred.
