Assistant Project Manager - K-14 (DSA)

Job Summary

Support construction project administration and partner with the Project Manager on K-14 (DSA) work in Concord.

Project Details

The role is associated with K-14 (DSA) construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost records, billing, payment follow-up, purchase orders, and rental agreements.
• Prepare, negotiate, and process change orders; assemble bid packages and evaluate proposals.
• Maintain project information in CMiC, draft procedures, and review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Guide Project Engineers and clerical staff, and handle assigned project duties.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Three to four years of construction experience, including field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• At least one year of scheduling and estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications, communication, and organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range of $100,000 to $144,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a matching 401(k), employee stock ownership and stock ownership programs, paid leave, insurance, and additional wellness and voluntary benefit options.
