Job Summary

Interstates is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for a December graduate to support industrial electrical, controls, automation, instrumentation, and engineering projects. This entry-level leadership role provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and a path toward project management.

Project Details

Assignments involve industrial construction projects at customer sites throughout the United States. Employees relocate for one project at a time, with typical project durations of six months to three years.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and field crews in keeping projects on schedule.
• Learn to coordinate schedules, budgets, materials, RFIs, submittals, and logistics.
• Build customer and team relationships while developing field leadership skills.
• Travel to project sites and contribute throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

• Expected to graduate in December.
• Pursuing Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related degree.
• Strong communication, organization, motivation, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability and enthusiasm to travel and relocate for projects nationwide.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $70,000-$78,000.
