Job Summary

Interstates is hiring a May graduate for an Assistant Project Manager role supporting industrial construction projects nationwide. The position offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and a path toward project management.

Project Details

Support electrical construction, engineering, instrumentation, and automation work on industrial projects across the United States. Assignments typically last six months to three years, with travel and relocation to the project site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and field crews to support project progress.
• Learn to track schedules, budgets, materials, RFIs, submittals, and logistics.
• Build relationships with customers and project teammates while developing leadership skills.

Required Experience

• Expected to graduate in May.
• Studying construction management, engineering, business, project management, or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, motivation to solve problems, and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites anywhere in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $70,000-$78,000. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, and flexible scheduling. End-of-fiscal-year incentives and merit increases are offered. Per diem or travel pay, or FAVR program benefits, may apply.
