Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support pipe work and heavy civil water and wastewater construction projects in McKinney, Texas.

Project Details

This role supports water and wastewater infrastructure construction, with responsibilities spanning project documentation, field coordination, procurement, scheduling, and owner communication.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, prepare detailed drafts, and maintain as-built documentation.
• Support project scheduling, material purchasing, labor-hour tracking, and project reporting.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Survey job sites and help oversee construction safety.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Four to seven years of construction experience.
• Willingness to travel.
