Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking a senior-level Superintendent to lead field installation and project execution for large-scale solar farm and power plant EPC projects. The role supervises field leadership and craft personnel while coordinating schedule, cost, quality, safety, and technical requirements.

Kiewit Power Constructors delivers union direct-hire construction services for power generation projects across North America, including gas-fired, coal-fired, retrofit, renewable energy, and solar facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct project teams, General Foremen, Foremen, and craft workers to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Manage project controls, procedures, approvals, changes, schedules, and budgets.
• Represent the project in meetings with clients, constructors, subcontractors, vendors, and field representatives.
• Monitor compliance with drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes.
• Support training, mentoring, workforce coordination, and craft performance evaluation.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience in power construction or a related market; Foreman and General Foreman candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety requirements, scheduling, cost control, and engineering documents.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and demonstrate fluent knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and project administration software.
• Willingness to relocate or travel, work overtime and weekends as needed, and perform reliably across changing jobsite conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $110,760-$165,000 annually, subject to education, experience, skills, and location. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
