Job Summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Civil General Superintendent to lead civil construction execution on major industrial and power generation projects.

Project Details

Projects include heavy industrial and simple-cycle and combined-cycle power facilities, with civil scopes supporting major rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil field personnel and coordinate construction activities with the project schedule and other site disciplines.
• Oversee excavation, underground work, foundations, concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, and equipment embeds.
• Coordinate equipment foundation work and support equipment setting, alignment, and turnover.
• Review drawings and work packages, address constructability issues, and coordinate with inspectors, clients, survey teams, and vendors.
• Promote safe work practices, lead briefings and pre-task planning, and monitor productivity, staffing, equipment, materials, and quality.

Required Experience

• 10–15 years of heavy civil or industrial construction experience, including direct power generation work.
• Experience on large industrial, simple-cycle, or combined-cycle power projects and as a Civil General Superintendent or Superintendent.
• Hands-on and supervisory experience with excavation, concrete foundations and finishing, formwork, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, embeds, and rotating equipment foundations.
• Ability to interpret civil and structural drawings, specifications, survey control, foundation tolerances, and construction sequencing.
• NCCER certification or equivalent construction credentials preferred.
• Utility-scale or large industrial EPC experience, crane coordination, and turbine or generator installation support are preferred.
