Commissioning Manager

Job Summary

Barton Malow is hiring a Quality Commissioning Manager to support a mission-critical data center project near Philadelphia. The role focuses on commissioning coordination, quality documentation, and organized system turnover.

Project Details

The position supports data center construction with building systems commissioning, controls, close-out documentation, and client turnover requirements. Experience with clean energy projects is also relevant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commissioning turnover milestones, system definitions, schedules, and completion documentation.
• Work with project scheduling and client teams to maintain progress toward system turnover.
• Manage commissioning punch lists and track outstanding work through completion.
• Prepare status reports, turnover dossiers, system numbering information, and required training records.
• Support client satisfaction by aligning commissioning activities with contract requirements.

Required Experience

• At least eight years of related industry experience, including two or more years supporting data center projects.
• Working knowledge of building systems commissioning, building management and control systems, QA/QC documentation, drawings, diagrams, and turnover processes.
• Experience with CxAlloy or comparable commissioning software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
• A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or construction management is preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, organization, and multitasking skills are required.
