Tutor Perini is hiring a Concrete Superintendent to direct on-site concrete work for its Newark AirTrain project at Newark International Airport. The role is accountable for safe, high-quality work delivered to schedule and project requirements.

Concrete construction for the Newark AirTrain infrastructure project at Newark International Airport.

Responsibilities

• Direct concrete work, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural elements, and finishing.
• Plan work activities and coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
• Review drawings and specifications, oversee formwork and reinforcement, and coordinate concrete placement.
• Promote site safety, conduct meetings and inspections, and manage quality control.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, and other trades to address field issues and maintain schedule.
• Track progress and maintain daily reports, manpower records, and material documentation.

Required Experience

• At least 7 years of concrete construction experience, including 3 years in a supervisory position.
• Knowledge of concrete forming, reinforcement, placement, and finishing methods.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Leadership, communication, scheduling, and basic construction software skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a construction-related degree is preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $175,000-$250,000, depending on experience.
