Construction Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Construction Manager to lead complex construction operations in Vail and Dillon, Colorado. This employee-owned organization offers leadership responsibility across project delivery, team development, safety, quality, budget, and client relationships.

Project Details

The position supports several smaller projects or a single highly complex project, with responsibility for coordinating design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct project performance for safety, schedule, quality, budget, and profitability.
• Lead project teams, mentor employees, and manage complex organizational structures across one or more sites.
• Coordinate design management, permits, procurement, submittals, construction, and commissioning.
• Support estimating, proposals, presentations, and pursuit of new work.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, claims, disputes, and project documentation.
• Promote safety culture and participate in district and corporate safety initiatives.

Required Experience

• Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Preferred 15 or more years of progressive construction leadership experience.
• Preferred 12 to 24 months of estimating or related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, specifications, building codes, safety, quality, contracts, insurance, bonding, and legal requirements.
• Experience with varied project delivery methods, construction sequencing, project meetings, client presentations, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Working knowledge of collective agreements and multitrade jurisdiction assignments.

Compensation and Benefits
