Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is hiring a Construction Project Manager to support healthcare construction work throughout the Greater Orlando region. This role leads project planning, procurement, field coordination, cost control, team management, and client communication.

Project Details

The healthcare portfolio includes new construction and renovations in active facilities, including community hospitals, academic medical centers, specialty clinics, and research environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop bidding strategies, bidder lists, scopes, front-end documents, and subcontract agreements.
• Coordinate bid solicitation, pre-bid meetings, bidder questions, evaluations, and post-bid reviews.
• Build project schedules, site logistics plans, cash-flow forecasts, manpower projections, and constructability reviews.
• Establish jobsite operations, safety expectations, emergency procedures, punch-list execution, and owner equipment coordination.
• Manage budgets, cost reports, change processes, trade cost structures, general conditions, and job profitability.
• Lead project meetings and oversee RFIs, submittals, office procedures, closeout, agency acceptance, and architect/engineer communications.
• Support labor-relations activities, business development, proposals, and presentations for future work.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least four years of general contractor or construction management experience.
• Healthcare construction experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to support projects throughout the Greater Orlando region.
• Experience with CPS and Prolog is relevant to bidding, cost management, and project administration responsibilities.
