Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a Senior Project Manager to direct construction projects from planning through closeout, with responsibility for field operations, team leadership, safety, schedule, quality, and financial performance. The position is based in Cranford, New Jersey, with work across the Northeast.

Project Details

The role supports marine and heavy infrastructure construction, including bridges, docks, and related projects for private and governmental clients. Project teams may relocate based on available work and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project administration, superintendents, engineers, and other field personnel.
• Coordinate project planning, means and methods, staffing, schedules, procurement, and work sequencing.
• Manage field operations in partnership with the Project Executive.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, financial objectives, change orders, and claims.
• Maintain safety, quality, production, and compliance with company policies.
• Resolve technical and operational issues and communicate work scopes across departments.
• Direct project closeout, including documentation, retainage collection, claims support, and outstanding work.

Required Experience

• 10 or more years managing construction projects with successful outcomes.
• Experience with infrastructure, bridges, docks, and marine construction.
• Ability to interpret schedules, cost controls, owner specifications, and engineering drawings.
• A degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, independent judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required and maintain reliable attendance.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $157,000-$197,000 per year. Full-time staff benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellness and assistance programs, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
