Drywall Project Manager

Job Summary

Manage drywall construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating the project team and working toward successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets and contract pricing, negotiate subcontract and material costs, and manage procurement.
• Coordinate schedules, submittals, material deliveries, project documentation, and contract compliance.
• Work with the Superintendent to plan and implement jobsite safety procedures.
• Lead and support project staff, organize meetings, and maintain productive relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Oversee quality, change documentation, closeout, warranty follow-up, and efforts to prevent or resolve claims.
• Support preconstruction, estimating, business development, and project interviews.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent drywall experience.
• Five to eight years of drywall field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Leadership, problem-solving, communication, organizational, drafting, and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of contract law, project accounting, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.
