E&I Construction Manager - Primoris Energy Services - Nexus

Job Summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking an E&I Construction Manager to direct electrical and instrumentation construction work for its Nexus projects, with a focus on safe, quality delivery within project schedules and budgets.

Project Details

The role supports industrial construction projects for Primoris Energy Services, whose portfolio includes refining, gas processing, chemical and petrochemical, hydrogen, power generation, mining, and other industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&I superintendents, foremen, craft teams, and subcontractors.
• Develop and execute construction plans, procedures, and schedules while overseeing safety, quality, materials, progress, and costs.
• Review engineering and vendor documents, conduct site inspections, and address issues affecting project delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients, manage E&I changes and claims, and maintain project records and progress reports.
• Contribute to project planning, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive E&I construction management experience; oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation experience preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale E&I construction projects from start to completion.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, instrumentation standards, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience with construction management software and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred; ability to travel to project sites as required.
