Job Summary

Interstates is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead industrial electrical crews near Aberdeen, South Dakota. This field-based role combines crew leadership, hands-on electrical work, project coordination, and safety ownership.

Project Details

Work supports industrial electrical, controls, automation, and related construction projects. The position covers jobs in and around Aberdeen within approximately 200 miles and may require permanent relocation to the area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate crews of approximately 3 to 15 employees.
• Work on the tools when project needs require hands-on support.
• Coordinate field execution, resources, productivity, budgets, schedules, and project layouts.
• Maintain safe work practices and actively support the company’s behavior-based safety program.
• Communicate with client representatives and other trades.
• Coach crew members and help develop a strong project team.

Required Experience

• Experience working on industrial electrical projects.
• Prior experience leading an electrical crew.
• State-issued journeyman electrician license or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and around electrical, dust, noise, and weather-related hazards.

Compensation and Benefits
