Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction is seeking an Electrical Project Manager in El Paso to provide leadership, technical direction, and contract administration for a medium-sized construction project within its Civil West operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct project execution to meet design, budget, resource, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Develop the project safety plan and promote strong health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Manage project performance, cost forecasts, schedule reporting, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and progress payments while monitoring delivery and schedule commitments.
• Interpret and enforce contract requirements, support value engineering, and coordinate project closeout.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Eight to ten years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, building codes, construction law, and safety and quality practices.
• Strong planning, organization, time management, budget, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with the ability to adopt new technology.
