Job Summary

Barton Malow Company is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical delivery for a thermal project in New Albany, Ohio. The role requires experience spanning electrical construction, design, and construction management, with strong knowledge of power distribution, calculations, and load studies.

Project Details

The position supports an industrial thermal project and includes electrical construction coordination, BIM integration, quality documentation, turnover, and client interface.

Responsibilities

• Direct electrical personnel and subcontractors while maintaining jobsite safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Plan project work, staffing, schedules, resources, budgets, estimates, proposals, and project controls.
• Review electrical submittals, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and construction-period deliverables.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor and subcontractor activities, turnover documentation, and O&M manuals.
• Support project reporting, client relations, team development, and BIM coordination across electrical trades.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least four years in electrical construction, design, or construction management.
• Knowledge of electrical systems design, power distribution, power calculations, and load studies.
• Experience leading construction staff, subcontractors, engineers, or designers.
• Familiarity with QA/QC records, turnover processes, systems, drawings, and diagrams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, BIM360, and Bluebeam.
• 15- or 30-hour OSHA certification; utility-scale renewable energy and electrical engineering experience are assets.
