Electrical Superintendent Electrical Construction

Job Summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations for industrial and advanced technology construction projects across the United States. The role is based from Irvine, California, with assignments at project locations nationwide.

Project Details

Projects are part of Kiewit's industrial market and may involve underground electrical work, instrumentation, hazardous-location conduit, cable tray, cable pulling, and above-ground electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small to medium-sized electrical construction projects and crews of approximately 20 to 50 craft employees.
• Inspect work for safety, quality, and productivity, and coordinate contractors, suppliers, deliveries, and inspections.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, three-week and 90-day schedules, and manpower planning.
• Provide safety training, maintain quality standards, resolve field issues, and participate in customer and owner meetings.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience as a General Foreman or Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of underground layout and installation, instrumentation, hazardous-location conduit, cable tray, and cable pulling.
• Experience directing electrical crews and managing 20 to 50 craft employees.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, effective communication skills, and the ability to work safely across active construction sites.
• Willingness to travel and relocate nationwide, work overtime and weekends as needed, and work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
