Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee industrial electrical installation work and field operations for major power-sector projects.

Project Details

The team delivers EPC power generation and solar farm projects throughout North America with a union craft workforce. Work may include underground duct banks, conduit, cable tray, cable pulling, terminations, and electrical equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft personnel and monitor safety, quality, productivity, and performance.
• Plan, schedule, and execute electrical field operations in accordance with contract requirements, electrical codes, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to maintain workflow and schedule performance.
• Develop manpower-based schedules and support timely project completion.
• Address employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling issues while escalating matters appropriately.
• Enforce project safety, attendance, conduct, and workplace policies.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience with industrial electrical installation scopes.
• Foremen and general foremen are encouraged to apply; prior superintendent experience is not required.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance with strong organization, communication, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, maintain reliable attendance, and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to travel and relocate to varying project locations.
