Job Summary

McNally Tunneling Corporation is hiring an entry-level Field Engineer to support project engineering staff on a tunnel construction project in Cleveland, Ohio. The role is suited to a recent engineering graduate who can contribute to field coordination, documentation, and construction planning.

Project Details

McNally specializes in large-diameter tunneling and underground heavy civil construction throughout the United States. This position supports transportation infrastructure work at a Cleveland tunnel project site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and help develop work plans for construction operations.
• Coordinate survey needs, craft supervision, materials procurement, and assigned construction activities.
• Support temporary works engineering, AutoCAD drafting, scheduling, submittals, and project changes.
• Assist with environmental monitoring, daily reports, and maintenance of project records.
• Help ensure field activities follow company policies and project requirements.

Required Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering; civil, mechanical, electrical, or construction management disciplines are considered.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, read contract drawings, and communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and Primavera P6 experience are advantageous.
• Construction internship or prior construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to work safely, maintain reliable attendance, and work overtime or weekends when needed.
