Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to lead field safety activities for advanced industrial construction projects in Essex Junction. The role supports complex project teams through inspections, hazard correction, incident prevention, training, and safety program implementation.

Work is part of JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group, which delivers industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for advanced-industry clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field safety programs and conduct site inspections, audits, orientations, and safety meetings.
• Document hazards, track corrective actions, and monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance.
• Support accident investigations, injury follow-up, insurance audits, and controlled insurance program projects.
• Analyze safety trends and recommend improvements to reduce recurring incidents.
• Provide safety guidance and training to project and safety personnel.

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a safety or health-related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced communication and safety-program skills, intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, and knowledge of applicable safety regulations.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is classified as Professional Non-Union and includes a benefits package. Base salary is dependent on experience, with eligibility for a target bonus tied to individual and company performance.
