Eunice HSE Coordinator

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support health, safety, and environmental performance on solar construction projects based in Eunice, Louisiana, and Colcord, Oklahoma. This role is suited to an early-career safety professional who can support field teams and help promote safe project delivery.

Project Details

The position supports PCL’s Solar USA operations and may require assignment to projects in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Ohio, Washington, or other states. Travel and potential relocation between project assignments are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Help administer project health, safety, and environmental plans, regulatory requirements, and safe-work procedures.
• Support project-specific training, hazard identification, emergency response, and security activities.
• Perform HSE inspections, track corrective actions, and provide safety trends and recommendations to project teams.
• Review trade contractor documentation, monitor compliance, and verify equipment and tool inspections.
• Report incidents and assist with investigations while maintaining productive relationships with project stakeholders and craft personnel.

Required Experience

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Working toward a safety designation and possessing at least one year of related industry experience.
• Ability to learn occupational health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, construction processes, and HSE procedures.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort adopting new technology.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
