Field Engineer

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to serve as the link between office engineering staff and field crews, ensuring that construction work meets engineering specifications and that project information flows seamlessly across the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveying and job site layout.
• Process and review shop drawings.
• Maintain and update as-built documents.
• Audit completed construction work for quality and compliance.
• Complete daily and periodic project reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities on site.
• Oversee material receiving and proper storage.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel and work hours required by the project schedule.
