Field Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking Field Engineers for future opportunities supporting its growing national data center business unit in Texas, Arizona, Oregon, and Utah.

Project Details

The role supports data center construction and works with project teams, trade partners, superintendents, and project managers across multiple regional markets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, inventories, time records, costs, and quantities.
• Support quality planning, inspections, issue resolution, and basic site safety activities.
• Coordinate requests for information, shop drawings, changes, billings, schedules, and trade performance.
• Provide day-to-day direction to trade partners and support workforce planning for self-perform work when applicable.
• Build effective working relationships with project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, a trade, or a related field.
• Two to three years of progressive field coordinator experience is preferred.
• Understanding of construction principles, specifications, methods, procedures, and trade partner coordination.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adopt new technology.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
