Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Field Engineer to connect office engineering teams with field crews and help deliver marine construction work efficiently and according to design requirements. This role offers entry-level project management experience in a hands-on field environment.

Project Details

The position supports marine construction operations in Nashville and requires field involvement and travel as project needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Verify field work and subcontractor activities against engineering specifications.
• Perform site surveying and layout.
• Review and process shop drawings.
• Maintain as-built documentation and audit completed work.
• Prepare daily and periodic reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and help manage materials and project records.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work in the field and travel as required by the project.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starts at $80,000 per year.
