Field Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Field Engineer in Nashville to connect office engineering teams with field crews and help deliver water and wastewater construction projects efficiently.

Project Details

This role supports water and wastewater infrastructure work, with daily field involvement and coordination between project personnel, subcontractors, and engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Verify that construction activities and subcontractor work follow engineering requirements.
• Perform site surveying and layout.
• Review and process shop drawings.
• Maintain as-built records and complete construction audits.
• Prepare daily and periodic project reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and help manage project documentation and materials.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours needed to support project success.
• Suitable for candidates seeking entry-level project management experience in construction.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starts at $80,000.
