Job Summary

Kiewit Offshore Services is seeking an entry-level Field Office Engineer to support construction operations at its large-scale offshore fabrication yard in Ingleside, Texas.

Project Details

The team fabricates structurally complex offshore oil and gas jackets and topsides at a year-round industrial facility near Corpus Christi. The work involves detailed planning, estimating, scheduling, field coordination, and strict safety execution.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications for craft and field teams.
• Develop work plans and packages, coordinate material orders, and schedule deliveries.
• Complete drawing takeoffs and prepare change orders for Project Manager review.
• Support field activities and oversee subcontractor operations.
• Analyze project information, review plans and specifications, and assist with bid preparation.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Infrastructure or heavy civil experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to access all areas of active construction sites and work safely in changing conditions.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when project demands require it.
