Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is seeking a senior field leader to oversee delivery of major healthcare construction work across the Southeast. The role combines project execution, regional operations leadership, superintendent development, client support, and construction innovation.

Project Details

The position supports complex healthcare projects valued at $500 million or more across Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida, with responsibility for one or multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution, safety performance, quality, productivity, schedule, and coordination across large healthcare projects.
• Develop construction strategies, site logistics, phasing plans, schedules, and subcontractor sequencing.
• Coordinate permits, inspections, authorities having jurisdiction, commissioning activities, and owner operations.
• Support estimating, bidding, scope development, project forecasting, cost control, and healthcare market pursuits.
• Represent field operations in project meetings and help resolve issues with owners, designers, trades, and subcontractors.
• Coach, mentor, and advocate for superintendents and other project team members.

Required Experience

• At least 15 years of healthcare construction experience on large, complex projects.
• Experience leading healthcare projects valued at $500 million or more.
• At least 8 years supervising project teams and trade partners.
• Regional contractor knowledge, strong negotiation ability, and willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.
• OSHA 30 certification.
