Job Summary
PCL Construction Services is seeking an HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental activities for construction operations in Denver on the night shift. The role supports project teams through compliance leadership, training, inspections, coaching, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Implement project HSE requirements and deliver training tailored to project hazards and regulatory needs.
- Monitor hazard identification, PPE use, equipment inspections, and documentation practices.
- Conduct formal site inspections and audits while coaching project teams and direct reports.
- Maintain emergency response and crisis communication processes.
- Participate in incident investigations, coordinate outside resources when necessary, and oversee injury and modified-duty documentation.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
- At least 9 years of related industry experience, including direct HSE work, and 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams and communicate HSE topics effectively with project staff and senior managers.
- CRSP certification preferred for Canadian candidates and ASP certification preferred in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
