HSE Supervisor

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking an HSE Supervisor in Denver to oversee health, safety, and environmental activities while supporting project teams, trade partners, and HSE personnel.

Responsibilities

• Implement project HSE plans, regulatory requirements, safe work practices, and communication programs.
• Lead inspections, hazard identification, trade partner audits, emergency planning, and environmental plan reviews.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and help resolve systemic safety issues.
• Develop and deliver project-specific HSE training.
• Coach, supervise, and mentor HSE Coordinators and other employees.
• Maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders and trade partners.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• Recognized safety designation and at least seven years of health and safety experience in a related industry.
• Two years of supervisory experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental legislation, HSE processes, construction methods, and terminology.
• Strong communication, presentation, conflict resolution, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation and Benefits
