Job Summary
PCL Industrial Services is seeking an Industrial Project Manager for its Arizona operations. This role leads project strategy, performance, risk management, commercial administration, and coordination across project teams and stakeholders.
Project Details
The position supports industrial construction projects through planning, execution, estimating, change management, and close coordination with engineering, clients, subcontractors, supervision, and craft personnel.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor project teams working on one or multiple sites.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, costs, equipment, materials, workforce, HSE, and quality performance.
- Establish reporting, document control, labor, material, cost, and site-office procedures.
- Develop project strategies, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Administer change orders, including negotiations and cost and schedule impact reviews.
- Lead meetings and communicate project issues, forecasts, and performance to clients, consultants, trades, and internal stakeholders.
- Support estimating, subcontractor coordination, proposals, presentations, and pursuit of new work.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant discipline, or a construction trades background with applicable experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction specifications, materials, methods, procedures, contracts, sequencing, and industrial project delivery.
- Experience identifying and mitigating construction risks and solving problems involving sequencing and staffing.
- Ability to work with engineering and client representatives on technical and commercial matters.
- Intermediate knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, cost control, quality, and construction management software.
- Strong communication, leadership, planning, organization, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
