Job Summary

Garney is seeking a traveling Assistant Superintendent to support field leadership and construction operations on water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Project Details

The role focuses on heavy civil water and wastewater construction, including crew operations and job-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support crews during heavy civil construction activities.
• Purchase and coordinate construction materials.
• Maintain as-built records and analyze material inventory.
• Serve as a point of contact for the owner and architect/engineer.
• Survey and verify conditions at the construction site.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Five to seven years of experience running crews on heavy civil water and wastewater projects.
• Safety-minded field leadership and construction knowledge.
