Job Summary

Lead quality control operations and inspector teams at TAS manufacturing facilities in Houston, supporting the production of packaged modular systems.

Project Details

TAS manufactures modular systems for data centers, power, and commercial and industrial utility applications. Its Houston facilities support manufacturing and logistics for projects serving customers in the United States and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Direct inspectors, assign daily work, and coordinate quality control projects.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, conduct audits and inspections, and implement corrective actions.
• Review inspection plans and quality reports, maintain records, and prepare nonconformance reports.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, coordinate third-party inspections, and communicate findings with stakeholders.
• Support training and lead daily safety and quality meetings.

Required Experience

• At least two years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality management.
• At least two years working with ISO-9000 or similar quality management systems.
• At least one year of experience with applicable ASME, AWS, SSPC, or comparable welding, construction, and quality codes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Visual/Magnetic Testing Level II certification within six months. NDE qualifications and ISO 9001 training are preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs, quality processes, data analysis, and root-cause analysis.
