MEP Assistant Superintendent (Mission Critical)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is hiring an MEP Assistant Superintendent to support delivery of a mission-critical project near Philadelphia. The role works closely with project leadership and trade partners to coordinate field execution, safety, quality, and scheduling.

Project Details

This position supports a mission-critical data center project and requires regular on-site presence at least five days per week, along with openness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support work-scope development, bidding activities, bidder interviews, and trade partner selection.
• Manage daily site operations, labor coordination, contractor interfaces, and field safety compliance.
• Assist with project budgets, cost forecasting, change monitoring, site logistics, and schedule development.
• Lead pull-planning activities and prepare six-week look-ahead schedules and progress updates.
• Communicate field conditions, issues, performance, and progress to project managers and stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• At least three years of documented mission-critical data center experience from project inception through completion.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, contract knowledge, adaptability, and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining effective client, subcontractor, and team relationships.
