Job Summary

Lead MEP construction management for The Weitz Company's Rocky Mountain Business unit on a major hospitality and resort development in Telluride, Colorado. This role is based onsite for the full project duration and oversees administrative and field execution, stakeholder relationships, and project performance.

Project Details

The assignment supports one of the region's largest hospitality and resort projects to date, with the MEP Project Manager responsible for an assigned scope within a complex construction program.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate construction activities with plans, specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Direct subcontractors and field personnel while supporting jobsite safety.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and two-week look-ahead planning.
  • Support major subcontractor procurement and evaluate opportunities to improve cost, schedule, scope, and quality.
  • Maintain accurate submittals, daily records, closeout materials, and other project documentation.
  • Review and uphold contract requirements while coordinating with project managers and stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • At least three years of substantial field and project construction management experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced construction environment and leading, mentoring, and developing others.
  • Commercial, industrial, aviation, or mission-critical construction experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn project-specific systems.
  • Procore, JDE, and Asta experience is preferred.
