Job Summary

Lead owner-furnished equipment management for a hyperscale data center project near Philadelphia. This fully on-site Project Manager role coordinates equipment from procurement through installation, testing, commissioning readiness, and final handoff.

Project Details

The assignment supports a mission critical hyperscale data center with major long-lead systems including generators, switchgear, UPS equipment, chillers, and racks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage OFCI procurement tracking, delivery windows, laydown, staging, rigging, installation sequencing, and handoff.
  • Coordinate owners, equipment vendors, field teams, and installing subcontractors.
  • Maintain tracking logs and schedules connected to critical-path and commissioning milestones.
  • Identify delivery risks, develop recovery plans, and communicate schedule impacts.
  • Oversee receiving, inspections, damage records, claims, warranty documentation, and closeout records.
  • Coordinate safe planning for equipment movement and installation with engineering, field, and safety teams.
  • Direct and mentor project engineers assigned to the OFCI program.

Required Experience

  • At least five years of construction project management experience, including OFCI equipment management on a major project.
  • Experience with mission critical, data center, or similarly complex construction involving large long-lead equipment.
  • Knowledge of procurement, logistics, delivery, staging, rigging, installation, and equipment handoff processes.
  • Experience with receiving procedures, damage documentation, warranty processes, and scheduling or tracking tools such as P6, MS Project, Procore, or Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Commissioning knowledge, familiarity with hyperscale electrical and mechanical systems, and PMP or OSHA 30 certification are preferred.
