Operations - Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

Holder Construction is hiring an Assistant Superintendent for its Operations team in Shippingport, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting project execution and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Support project safety, schedule, quality, and contract requirements while reinforcing OSHA and company safety policies.
• Coordinate onsite crews, daily work scopes, sequencing, and inspections.
• Organize site logistics and activities, partnering with office and field teams to manage project risks and maintain workflow.
• Guide and mentor associates, interpret construction plans and specifications, and contribute to successful project delivery.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or an engineering-related field, or at least three years of equivalent work experience.
• Collaborative approach, strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and effective communication and time management.
• Experience supporting complex commercial construction projects and familiarity with commercial safety, quality, and schedule practices are preferred.
