Overhead Distribution Foreman – Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Summary

Primoris T&D is hiring an Overhead Distribution Foreman in Raleigh, North Carolina, to lead crews delivering overhead electrical distribution work safely and to required quality standards.

Project Details

Work includes construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew activities and organize daily staffing, equipment, and material needs.
• Review work plans and technical documents, deliver safety briefings, and address hazards.
• Train crew members, operate utility equipment, and perform field installation and repair work as needed.
• Check completed work, document labor and materials, and coordinate with project managers and clients.
• Respond to outages and emergency call-outs when required.

Required Experience

• At least five years as an Overhead Distribution Journeyman Lineman and two years in an overhead distribution foreman or supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a recognized lineman apprenticeship is preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of distribution systems, construction practices, OSHA and NESC requirements, and utility equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications and work outdoors in demanding conditions.
• Availability for extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergency response as needed.
• OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
