Job Summary

Dickerson & Bowen is seeking a Paving Crew Foreman to supervise field employees, coordinate daily work, and keep assigned operations moving safely and efficiently.

Project Details

The company provides asphalt paving and aggregate services in central and southern Mississippi, supporting highway construction and related work.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily crew assignments and adjust plans for weather, materials, deliveries, or staffing changes.
• Delegate work, train and mentor employees, and ensure crews have adequate resources.
• Promote safe equipment use and compliance with applicable procedures and requirements.
• Manage site budgets and quality standards, address conflicts, and report progress to project leadership.

Required Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant training and work experience.
• Ability to interpret construction methods, contracts, and technical drawings; communicate clearly; and lead work to meet schedules.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, and climbing.
