Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Director to lead complex construction work programs in Nashville. The role provides strategic, operational, financial, and relationship leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Direct project and work program execution, business planning, staffing, schedules, budgets, and contractual performance.
  • Lead safety initiatives, incident response, corrective actions, and a culture of injury prevention.
  • Manage client relationships, subcontractor strategy, preconstruction planning, risk mitigation, change resolution, and business development.
  • Review project performance and schedules while holding teams accountable for results.
  • Support corporate initiatives and represent the company in community and industry organizations.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least 15 years of construction management experience preferred and 5 or more years of people management experience required.
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple large or complex projects or teams simultaneously.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, project management, accounting software, construction technology, Lean, budget management, estimating, and risk management capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of MBE, WBE, and SBA regulations is required.
