Job Summary

Primoris Energy Services is hiring a Project Director to lead end-to-end delivery of a major power-generation project in Central Texas, overseeing safety, quality, schedule, and financial results.

Project Details

The work centers on gas and steam turbine simple-cycle and combined-cycle generation. Primoris delivers EPC and industrial construction services across power generation and other energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Direct project execution from pre-construction through closeout and serve as the primary client contact.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and safety teams, and oversee contractor performance.
• Review engineering deliverables and manage technical issues, project risks, change control, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA reviews, and support resource planning with senior leadership.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 15+ years in industrial or power construction, including 5+ years in a senior project leadership position.
• Experience managing EPC projects over $100 million in gas turbine cogeneration, LNG, or related energy infrastructure.
• Knowledge of engineering design, construction management, project controls, and contract administration.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and travel to project sites as needed.
